Dr. Omar Valderrama R.

Dr. Omar Valderrama R. “I am Dr. Omar Valderrama R., a medical graduate of the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA) in Venezuela. I am currently a Clinical Cardiology Resident at ASCARDIO-UCLA, as well as a Professor and Coordinator of Biochemistry II at the UCLA School of Health Sciences, where I previously served as a teaching assistant.

I am passionate about the ‘non-divorce’ between molecular dynamics and clinical practice. As I venture further into the world of education, I remain a firm believer that science challenges the impositions of society. I am an energetic enthusiast of the pathophysiology of both infectious and non-infectious diseases, constantly learning in this infinite world of knowledge.”.
