Camila María V. Fernández Rodríguez is a third-year medical student at the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA) in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Passionate about dynamic biochemistry, molecular physiology, and integrative neuroscience, she stands out for her ability to transform complex concepts into functional visual resources aimed at advanced medical education and interdisciplinary understanding.
Inspired by the legacy of her predecessors and deeply admiring the achievements of the Venezuelan Science Incubator (IVC), Camila directs her research interests toward the study of infectious diseases, epidemiological surveillance, citizen science, and ethnobiology. Her approach is defined by the integration of high-impact visual tools with clinical applications, always seeking to connect biomedical knowledge with educational and social solutions that positively influence scientific and medical communities.
